Ben, how do you have time to watch them all? Even if watching DVDs was your full-time job you wouldn't have time to get through them all in a month.

I have four kids (three of them pre-teen girls) so it will be on at my house tonight. I'll probably watch it. Right after it there'll be a preview episode of Disney Channel's next animated series Phineas and Ferb and I'm more excited about seeing that.

On Gargoyles, for which I was too old/young to get into at the time but can very much see the appeal now...was that a Disney pickup? It LOOKED like a Disney show, but didn't they kind of distance themselves from it in selling it? It was all Disney, but very different from what they had done before,...

Some of you mentioned Gargoyles , and that gets my vote for best Disney series ever. It was more mature than any kiddie cartoons I had ever seen, often funny but not silly, with incredible continuity and character development, and great action. The first season and half of the second season are out ...

Ratatouille analogy

OK, Hi I have not been here in a loooong time (new job, etc.). But I heard about a Ratatouille review that had some very interesting ideas and I wanted to pass them along here. I’ve decided to create a new thread because, although this is about Ratatouille , it’s also about studio history and politi...

But, did he have a name ..? Sorry, I'm nowhere near a DVD player ATM, so I hated to guess .. but I honestly don't remember any of the Alley Cat Gang having names, except Scat Cat .. I don't think any of them had names in the movie, but in the 1970's comic book "The Aristokittens" the Russian cat wa...

Lorenzo Music did the voice of Tummi Gummi. He was a great voice actor, even though he didn't have a lot of versatility. All his characters sound the same, but they've got real personality.

67.) You know that DuckTails was the first of Disney animtion to be animated overseas. (Hong-Kong) 67b) You also know how to actually spell DuckTALES. ;) Actually I thought that Wuzzles had production done by Wang Film, which predates DuckTales by three years...? Both The Wuzzles and The Adventures...

Brother Bear 2 - your reviews

I finally got my copy of Brother Bear 2 this weekend and watched it last night in a double feature with Brother Bear 1 . I really like it; it's one of the better direct-to-video sequels. The animation was near-feature quality, although still recognizable as direct-to-video in many places. The story,...

But if you ever get an e-mail "from Paypal" asking you to update your account, don't follow the link in the e-mail. Always type "paypal.com" directly into your browser. A lot of people use Paypal as bait when they go phishing.

I'm "obsessed" with family movies because I watch movies with my wife and four kids. Also, I grew up watching movies with my parents and brothers. Those are the kind of movies I like.

Besides that, the real world is gruesome enough. I'm not entertained by violence and gore.

"Dang it, Jim, I'm an astronomer, not a doctor. I mean, I am a doctor, but I'm not that kind of doctor. I have a doctorate. It's not the same thing. You can't help people with a doctorate, you just sit there and you're useless!"
