I got a thing from the Uk that came up "Do you want to continue to Disney US or go to a site more tailored for your local region", and I just clicked through to Disney US and got the main American website.

I was glad the Donner cut of SII kept with the 1978 approach and not the Returns "ride film" (good description). As with everything else in SR, it looked old, crap and stolen from something else (in that case Star Trek: TNG). I remember seeing S:TM in the theater and the screen opening up from 1.33 ...

He Vi, you wanna try and write in another English dialect! I'm always trying to catch myself and make sure I use "Americanisms" in all my writing here, on News and on Views. :)

Fun Anderson story. ;)

And then we have the High School stars spin offs, don't forget!! Jim's a little late here on the franchise wagon. Disney's been intending to build franchises for years. Roger Rabbit, Dick Tracy, Rocketeer - those were ALL intended to launch successful series of films. And Pirates 4 is not lik...

Well this is "exciting" and certainly paves the way for Andrew Stanton to director the John Carter Of Mars projects, if this isn't what Bird is eyeing.

Hmmmm.... Pixar guys now taking over Disney live-acton tentpoles...!?

It's like Troy never happened. ;)

El Stevo, the "serious director" who's about to make a popcorn serial picture with Indy IV and prove that, yeah, they're all still kids at heart and the film won't suck like The Phantom Menace and not fit Indy lore at all? Sorry, went off on a tangent there. I just don't want IJ4 to suck!! :( I thin...

Nope, she didn't change in the cut I saw. And I can't take Murphy seriously as a threat. Freddy films...saw them all on original release (or at least on home video release) and wasn't that scared or impressed by them. Yes, possibly some decent effects (I'd have to see them again) but I remember thin...

Katie not being in this was confirmed weeks ago Vi! :)

Apparently she wasn't given enough "going out passes" from her hubby to make another movie so soon. Or something. ;)

Australian actor!!??

I believe that was Shane Ritchie, a "popular" comedian/actor here who is 100% British. He was recently in one of our longest running soaps though has also done a lot of musical stage work.

But Australian he ain't! :)

Just another nail in SR's coffin.

I can't believe Warners are handing that fool more money to ruin the franchise a second time.

All my references have been answered!!

Droo...wasn't "The Girl Can't Help It" Tash's first live picture, again with Mansfield?

And yes, Vi, you should see "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?" if for the opening sequence alone. Great stuff!

The DVD is great. Freaks is a cool film. Finally caught Saw II last week (yes, II not III) and kind of liked it. I dunno, the genre seems all the same these days. What I liked about Saw was that it wasn't teenagers in trouble, but Saw II went that route. It was a fun ride, but not as good as the fir...
