Re: YouTube Goodness
I’d love to see this "properly" too. I guess WB has it now…? It’s on the Internet Archive for a view.

Re: Looney tunes return to the big screen in new animated film!
They wouldn’t have paid, they just retained the streaming rights they already had. All Ketchup got were theatrical and home video.

Re: Sesame Street
Still such a shame that Disney+ doesn't unite the Muppet brands, but then I understood that Sesame Workshop didn't want to potentially become beholden to any corporate interference and the like, as has happened with the BBC and Doctor WTF.

Re: Looney tunes return to the big screen in new animated film!
Wait what, what? The film was an HBO Max title right from the start before they played the whole write off shenanigans before backtracking and giving Ketchup a theatrical deal. You can bet that WB never gave up the streaming rights, so they’re just exercising their steaming option. I’m kind of surpr...

Re: Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Live-Action)
I didn’t think you liked any of these live remakes anyway?? Either way, Tangled isn’t cancelled, it’s just "paused", and Lilo & Stitch and Moana's massive takes will make them realise White Snow was just a bad idea to begin with and the cycle will be reignited. And there are plenty of other fairytal...

Re: YouTube Goodness
This was the biggest hyped and then ultimately most tedious and boring TV special back in the day. Hilarious that two whole minutes are given over to just announcing the cast, all of whom require their own title cards! I remember Doc Brown kicked it off and we all got excited…and then it just turned...

Re: YouTube Goodness
As much as I enjoyed it back in the day, I always found this a fairly weird show, and something "off" about it compared to the other WB specials of the time. Even as a kid one could tell the difference between the classic toons and these "new" ones, and Freleng's 70s design Daffy feet never felt qui...

Return of the Silver Surfer!?
I still find Pascal a bland board of emotionless expression, but all else looks fun.

Fixed your YT links for ya, Vi! Oh my, these things are getting betterer and betterer all the time! The wormhole I fell down after brought up this: some really strange stuff in here, but hysterically so, made me burst out giggling at least three times,. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c99uZ7fkzUY

Re: Happy 30th Goofy movie
They were, and still are, allergic to anything with Mars in the title! I get that they wanted to build a franchise around John Carter, hence the name, but hey could have gone with Princess Of Mars and then John Carter: The Second One for a follow-up, just like they did with Indy. And *that* still bu...

Re: Happy 30th Goofy movie
As it should be! For my money, if there’s one "DisneyToon" feature — using that term as a catch all for the many satellite studios that made stuff for DTVs and TV movies — that deserves to be counted as a quasi-legit WDP/WDFA/WDAS entry, it’s A Goofy Movie. Legacy character, check. WDFA Director, ch...
