Scanned over some of the titles and it appears some are also included in this collection, though that one deals with short works only (review here ). Additionally, it looks like Zakka's extra features and audio are much, much better -- as concerned about archival as it is about presentation and cont...

Interesting conversation so far. But what does Bakshi's technique or quality matter when the real value of his work may be just that it exists? Like some large, reddish zit on the delicate face of our friendly neighborhood animation timeline ... at least as far as mainstream attention goes. His raun...

Tim Burton and Shane Acker's "9"

http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/7901/shaneacker9animacion1vf2.jpg Didn't see a thread for this yet. It's based on Acker's 2004 Oscar nominated short of the same name and Burton is putting his name behind it so it has a dynamite shot of hitting the mainstream in full force. (Note: the image above...

For any PC gamers in our midst, Valve's Steam service is having a dynamite year-end sale on a truck load of games. Bioshock for $5, an id Software super pack for $34, and so much more: http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale In other video game news, I got back in the old swing of things towards t...

Hoodwinked actually elicited some pretty good laughs from our group, and that's usually enough to keep something out of a bottom-of-the-barrel "Worst" list for me.

And Prince of Egypt? Truly among the worst stuff one can see? Oooooo-kay...
