WOW!

I just saw it today. AMAZING. I'm not certain, but I think it may be Brad's best film yet.

Brad is an incredibly depressing filmmaker.

Depressing because he's so good you wish all movies were that good.

$122,000,000!

Congratulations, Dreamworks! Holy wow! Much more in one weekend than the entire run of MTR!

Disney should just pack it up. ;-)

But seriously Dreamworks, Congrats! Best animated movie opening of all-time... you even beat your own record!

I can't wait for "Puss-in-Boots!"

I hope it's great.

I remember when Pirates 2 came out, it got terrible reviews. Then I saw it anyway and thought it was fantastic. I think pretty much everyone who saw it agreed.

Here's hoping Shrek 3's the same!

Also, I was SO choked up when (blank) met (blank) that I didn't really think of this, but technically, as Doc Brown warned Marty, :P "(doing blank)" could have a catastrophic effect on time itself. I still loved it, but I do wish that the whole "forbidden" aspect of that could have been addressed, ...

BHG doesn't have a british accent. Maybe you have british ears! ;-) Ben, have you read the book? The reason I'm asking is that a friend of mine told me yesterday that she saw the film and liked it a lot, but didn't get why the future was so odd... I mean not just a standard future, but a kind of wie...

" why he was British!?" What?!?! Where'd you get that idea? He's not british. "I couldn't go with the fact that the characters were stylised but that real people's photographs were used in picture frames. This didn't make sense. " Ahh... it worked in Lilo and Stitch (with elvis). Seems to me somethi...

I have always appreciated elfman and thought that some of his scores are genius. But I have to say, my opinion of him went way up after seeing what he did for Robinsons... and the general class act that he was. Do you all know that he took time during a break in the scoring session to go on the live...

Thanks for those images.

Everything in it looks absolutely perfect. Perfect casting, perfect look. Astonishing.

Those shots of Lyra looking petulant are absolutely spot-on.

One thing to mention is that the song "The Future Has Arrived" is the same theme as the Elfman "To the Future." There are also parts of "Another Believer" woven in to the score. In other words, Elfman integrates the song score into his score. Elfman wrote over an hour of score. Don't worry, his geni...

The frogs are there, playing Jazz with Louis Armstrong and Count Basie, I think.

I don't know who's twisted idea it was to make Frankie, but that whole gag was in it from the first time any of us saw the movie. Genius!

And Art is in there... I can't recall if he's delivering pizza or not.

An interesting thing is that there are two versions of the book. There's the original and there's a new edition (the one that you have PV) that was expanded for the Meet the Robinsons release. Uncles Wormley and Orbly aren't in the original. There's no snowball fight and no dinosaurs at the pool sce...

As long as people are born with two eyes, 3D movies will be made. Popularity may increase or decrease. But it'll always be around. It's in our very nature to want to look at something in 3D. Interesting tidbit... 3D images date back to old stereoscopic photography... which was a huge phenomenon in t...

Kung Fu Panda will rock.

I'm excited about the other films as well... but don't count out the Panda.
