That's what they said about Men In Black II... ;)

Hopefully, if we did see a Roger follow-up, it would be better than that! :)

Sadly, there's no reason for Disney to keep anything "secret". This is it folks. :(

Dusterian, thanks for the kind words...I does what I can, guv'nor!

I found it amusing that, out of all your screenshots, Arial actually looks youngest of all in the original 1989 film!

Welcome to our boards SBA! :)

We do actually already have a thread similar to this, but I'll leave this open for now and see what reaction it gets.

Yes, good to see Giacchion in the Oscar's circle, and for one of his truly best scores to boot. For anyone who's read any of my reviews on such things, I'm well against DVD bonus features being recognised for Academy Awards, and Your Friend The Rat was a DVD bonus. Perhaps AMPAS has finally caught o...

It's been said that what they make lack in technique, they beat out because they're actors and thus bring a deeper level to the performance.

I certainly am looking forward to seeing this next week. :)

LD was also only a nice format because you had to go out and buy the hardware, it didn't record, and it took up a lot of space (player and discs) for something you couldn't really use for anything else (other than playing CDs). Okay, you still have to go out and buy the player, but Blu-Ray has the a...

Hey Dan...Disney closed down WDTVA-Japan after Cinders II, it's true, but the staff actually continued the studio as their own concern. Ironically enough, Disney then went back to them as a client and they animated another couple of movies (Patch's London Adventure - for sure - and Fox And The Hound...

Wow...this was a surprise and snuck up on me out of the blue - I wasn't expecting these announcements until next week.

I'm delighted that Surf's Up won out over The Simpsons and Bee Movie to make that third slot.

I think it's going to be an interesting battle between the Rat and Persepolis though...

Well, this IS why they introduced, for a couple of years, Best Score (Musical Or Comedy) and Best Score (Dramatic), because he kept winning on that streak from Little Mermaid to Pocahontas. I do think it's highly unfair that he not be nominated this time though - what's so different between Enchante...

The animation stinks! This is no-where near the quality of Lion King 1.5, Bambi II or Cinderella III. All they've done here is overshade the characters to make them look more lush, which is what a lot of people mistake for better "animation". This, I can see even from the trailer, looks to be about ...

Yeah, I get why he's on the cover, but some folks are going to be disappointed that they're running the Clouseau cartoons on the back of Pink, and showing Pink on the cover isn't being too honest unless they slap a "Pink doesn't actually appear in these cartoons" notice on the back!

A nice surprise with the Pink Christmas disc is that it contains the other two DePatie-Freleng Pink specials made for TV also. That was a great bonus.

Yep, I like the art here, but I don't think Pink was in any of these actual cartoons...

Sorry for the late head's up: For those in the UK with ITV1, the South Bank Show is airing a dedicated Tim Burton profile tonight at 10:40pm, featuring a look at his career including early home movies and on the set of Sweeney Todd. No doubt they will stream this on the ITV website, so for those wit...
