Speaking of fun-looking family superhero films, has anyone seen this trailer for The Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl? It's predictably SpyKids-y, being from Robert Rodriguez, but that's a good thing in my book. I saw this trailer with Madagascar on the weekend, and thought it looked fairly cool....

Here ya go! Looks cool to me. Once I saw Linda Carter, I was sold!! Great to see Kurt Russell back doing family films for Disney.

Saw it last night. I liked it. Hayden still can't act, Lucas still can't keep out the cheesy dialog (my friend and I looked at each other with grimaces several times during the show), and Anakin's "conversion" to the Dark Side happened way too quickly (despite all the foreshadowing, I still didn't b...

I have the Archive Edition, which I mainly chose for the cover, which I preferred over the later laserdisc (30th, I think) Anniversary set. I think that the Anniversary LD had one more small featurette, though. Neither one really had a whole lot on it when compared to the new DVD. There is some Behi...

I've got this ordered. I do have it on tape already, but will appreciate having it on DVD. Certainly, it's not up there with the all-time great serials, but it is great fun. I think I actually find it more watchable in some ways than the Superman serials, where Kirk Alyn always looked painfully clue...

I'm dying to see this film. From what little I have seen of it, I love it already. I doubt it'll come to theaters where I am, so I'll be jumping on the DVD. (George: Orlando ain't so bad. I was there for 5 years in the 90s. Sure, it's got no real culture--- just pop culture--- but it's still a nice ...

"Boner" (pardon my language  ) was actually a word back then?? What did it mean???? A "boner" is a stupid mistake or ill-advised action. I didn't even realize that not everyone had heard of it in that context before. There was also a "Boner" character on the 1980s show Growing Pains -...
