You have some valid criticisms to be sure, George, but I wonder then if you've been keeping up with the show. It is ten times better now than the first half season or so. The ongoing arcs have been pretty good, even if there's too much mention of kryptonite in individual plots. The inclusion of Lois...

Justice League Unlimited Good stuff!

In Canada, we've been getting episodes of JLU earlier than in the US, and I have to tell you the show only gets better and better. The Cadmus storyline came to a climax in the one I saw tonight... whoa! Wait'll you see Power Girl, two characters named Steel, lots of JSA'ers (including S.T.R.I.P.E. i...

I haven't watched the preview online, but it's likely the same as the one that aired. The early reviews, at AICN and elsewhere, are very promising, eh? You've still got a couple episodes left to get to the Smallville finale. Be prepared for some good Superman storytelling, even if you haven't been e...

I am now officially jazzed about Batman Begins. The reviews sound great, and the preview shown after the Smallville season-ender looked pretty good.

BTW, the Smallville finale was awesome too!

Speaking of fun-looking family superhero films, has anyone seen this trailer for The Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl? It's predictably SpyKids-y, being from Robert Rodriguez, but that's a good thing in my book. I saw this trailer with Madagascar on the weekend, and thought it looked fairly cool....

Here ya go! Looks cool to me. Once I saw Linda Carter, I was sold!! Great to see Kurt Russell back doing family films for Disney.

Saw it last night. I liked it. Hayden still can't act, Lucas still can't keep out the cheesy dialog (my friend and I looked at each other with grimaces several times during the show), and Anakin's "conversion" to the Dark Side happened way too quickly (despite all the foreshadowing, I still didn't b...

I can't believe I forgot to watch it! Argh! Well, if it was pretty good, then I'll have to get the DVD. (And great news this weekend about The Muppet Show sets coming!!!)

I have the Archive Edition, which I mainly chose for the cover, which I preferred over the later laserdisc (30th, I think) Anniversary set. I think that the Anniversary LD had one more small featurette, though. Neither one really had a whole lot on it when compared to the new DVD. There is some Behi...

I've got this ordered. I do have it on tape already, but will appreciate having it on DVD. Certainly, it's not up there with the all-time great serials, but it is great fun. I think I actually find it more watchable in some ways than the Superman serials, where Kirk Alyn always looked painfully clue...

You should have little trouble finding it. Amazon and other online stores have it. You may get it cheaper on eBay. If you do not like to shop online, then a well-stocked comic shop should have it. It's had many printings.

It's a bit of a clumsy story as I recall, but powerful all the same.

I'm dying to see this film. From what little I have seen of it, I love it already. I doubt it'll come to theaters where I am, so I'll be jumping on the DVD. (George: Orlando ain't so bad. I was there for 5 years in the 90s. Sure, it's got no real culture--- just pop culture--- but it's still a nice ...

Agreed!! The characters, the satire, the wacky plots.... all terrific. It's surprising that there has not been more discussion clamoring for a DVD release. I'm glad I have all the tapes Disney put out.

It's listed as an import (i.e. coming from the U.S.), so I'm seriously doubting there's any bilingulal packaging. :)

Price watch: Amazon.ca is actually listing this disc at 30% off, at $25.26 in Canadian dollars (or about $20US)---- a much better deal than Amazon.com (29.95US)!
