Re: Bedrock: A Sequel to The Flintstones

Love the graphic, Droo!

I'm pretty keen to see what Bedrock does with its premise. I somehow doubt that it will concern itself with any previous continuity, though. And yeah, I don't mind Seth not being involved in this one.

Re: Space Jam 2

Some of the Disney ones are pretty good, but again I think the human characters work best. (Mickey ones tend to be good, too, for some reason.) Radioactive Man is my lone Simpsons Pop.

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

D+ has plenty of grown-up content already on its Star channel. I can't see why Family Guy wouldn't move over at some point- possibly with a Hulu merge, as Ben said.

Re: Space Jam 2

I am not quite so fortunate. I think they're terribly cute, and I love the variety of Pops. I have a collection loosely named "oddball heroes." That includes Popeye, Dudley Doright, Space Ghost, Blue Falcon, Buffy (a gift), Austin Powers, and a bunch more. And the Batman '66 figures. And a few DC on...

Re: Disney Movie Rewards

You may want to re-categorize it, as it's still listed under "News." Whew, that was a while ago!

Re: YouTube Goodness

Wow! I just found this YouTube channel, which has a bunch of Disney's Wonderful World of color episodes, including a few highlighting one of my favourite characters, Ludwig Von Drake! Plus, Disneyland, Wonderful World of Disney, and dozens of TV specials (like the grand opening of Euro Disney)! So m...

Re: Disney Movie Rewards

I thought I'd grab some DisneyNature flicks, but they all now say "under maintenance." I'll have to check back tomorrow, I guess. TBC is a grand surprise! I was just thinking of watching it on D+, but I'll be happy to spin a Blu-ray. And Valiant is even more of a surprise. I enjoyed it, too, and wro...

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES

Just last week, there were stories saying that Keaton had not committed, and it was all in doubt, so that's why the confirmation is news.

Pretty cool, though, especially if it IS more than a cameo. (Having Keaton play Thomas Wayne in Flashpoint would really make sense.)

Re: Avengers and the MCU

I didn't mind the Iron Man 3 twist (which I had known well before seeing it), but it would have been better if they'd followed up on it much sooner. We have been waiting a long time for a proper Mandarin. I mean, wasn't The Ten Rings already teased in the first Iron Man? That is one slow burn.

Re: Avengers and the MCU

I assume this is only a teaser, so I wasn't surprised that not much is revealed. I wouldn't have expected much more than what we got. I wasn't really wow'ed either, but I still find myself a bit intrigued to see more. After all, this promises to be yet another different genre-within-a-genre Marvel f...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

I haven't dined at a restaurant in over a year, or been inside a store in months. (My wife does our shopping.) Most places are open here, but that doesn't make it a smart thing to go out and mingle with people (until one is fully vaccinated, and even then I will be a bit leery.) Aside from my going ...

Yep, just get 'er done, man.

I'll be in line tomorrow morning for my Pfizer at the drive-through clinic!! My wife and I are very excited.
