R.I.P. Adam West

Post by Dacey » June 10th, 2017, 6:54 pm

Pretty sad news that I know many people here will be impacted by. In everything he did, West brought a consistent amount of warmth, whether it was Batman or his more recent work over more than a decade on Family Guy.

As I noted in my recap of last year's LA Comic Con, meeting Adam along with Burt, Julie, and Lee was my primary objective to going to the convention. It was an absolute pleasure to meet them in person and even something as brief as getting my photo taken with them and shaking their hands was a real treat.

Very, very saddened by this. His Batman was iconic and his voice work was amazing, especially Family Guy.

Here's a brief but hilarious clip of him from The Critic.
He was such a good sport! :-). (And of course he was great in The Simpsons Mr. Plow ep too.)

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
