Forget all these other arguments, let's discuss the real issue!

chernabog has Beauty and the Beast as the worst Disney movie of the 1990's!

No, that would be "Atlantis", surely?

I know your love for Beauty, James, but I always find myself torn between that, Aladdin and Hunchback, which, without the "Guy Like Me" interruption, would be a perfect movie.

I don't know why, but I always keep coming back to Aladdin, even though technically its no-where near Belle's beauty.

"Atlantis" isn't a movie of the 90s.

Oops - sorry! For some bizarre reason I thought that it came before The Emperor's New Groove there for a moment!

Atlantis was 2000, 2001, right? Gawd it seems som much longer ago than that!

"Atlantis" was 2001.

TENG was 2000.

Though they were only about six moves apart. It's an easy mistake to make.

Yeah, well...we prefer to be called the "rabidly obsessed."

I think Spielberg had a stalker too....(I'm not a stalker though! )

I like your avatar WJ!

Thanks. I'm sure that spaz agrees with you. If he's seen it, that is.

I hadn't been following this thread for a few days and things have spiralled out of control. Firstly, Mulan is a work of genius IMO and to rate ANY DW film above it is downright blasphemy. Secondly, this is for James, don't say it's the WORST Disney film of the 90's, that makes it sound like I didn't like it. Try, my least favourite.

That film just never gelled with me the way any of the others did. I don't think the animation is anywhere near Disney's best and the whole thing felt kind of boring. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy (it is Disney after all isn't it?) but I can't pretend to rate it any higher simply because it's expected. Now Aladdin... THAT was a masterpiece!
