Sweet. From my understanding, many people were already posting bootleg copies of the trailer anyway.

Great trailer...though that Statue Of Liberty head doesn't look big enough.

I think it's just part of the head, but yeah, that struck me as well.

Actually (according to Wikipedia stats) they may have it right.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statue_of_Liberty
Head from chin to cranium - 17 feet 3 inches (5.26m)
Head thickness from ear to ear - 10 feet (3.05m)

Didn't look that big to me. Maybe the size of a man in length, say 6ft.
Yep, it might be part of the head, but artistic licence comes into play and it just didn't look that impresseive. Could have pushed it a couple of feet more to get the impact.
This is a small nit-pick in what was otherwise an intriguing trailer though. Gotta be aliens, right? Paramount basically wanted another, better War Of The Worlds and this is what they're getting...?
Or it's a romantic comedy about talking animals and we're all being led up the garden path...

I thought it was the width of the street which would make 17 feet about right. I could be remembering it wrong though.

It looked like it only too up half the street.
Why are we getting so picky over a special effect?
