Well, it turns out that I had to go back on my statement...

Christmas Eve - A Chirstmas Carol
Christmas Day - It's a Wonderful Life

Looks like the rolls got switched. But my family and I had fun watching them, either way. :D

ShyViolet - I agree. That film is wonderful no matter when you watch it! :)

We never did get to It's a Wonderful Life, but we did watch Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas and Muppet Christmas Carol the past two days.

And today? Something else entirely.... Gojira (original Godzilla). I'd really been looking forward to cracking that one open.

Fun's over now. Gotta get back to writing all those DVD reviews for Animated Views!

RandCanuck - They should make a Godzilla Christmas film, huh? :P

And I love The Muppet Christmas Carol -- it's touching and hilarious at the same time. The name of the man who played Scrooge has slipped my mind, but he gave out an excellent performance.

That would be cool!

Only it would be overshadowed by fighting mosters :?

Silly Mitch

There's nothing funny about Godzilla films, unless you count that CG american version *shrugs*

Hey, there's a rumor that there might be a Godzilla 2, with no Mathew Broderick! Yes! :D

I have to say I loved the Godzilla movie. It wasn't Godzilla at all...more like unfrozen prehistorix monster roaming New York, but for that it was very fun. I liked how they knew it was all so over the top and they just went for it.

Yep, Rand...got me that Gojira set too...apart from the interlaced transfer, I thought it was a nice idea to put them together and the coms are great too.

And Uli...as long as it's quiet, you make the room all cosy and wrap up all snug and warm, you'll get the spirit of It's A Wonderful Life any time of year. But don't watch it with all the lights on or you'll ruin the effect! :)

Daniel Jake - Haha -- yeah, I almost forgot about that Godzilla film. I'm surprised that haven't made a Godzilla 2 yet, because the end of the first one is so obvious.... Heheh. ;)

Ben - I agree. I actually loved the Godzilla movie, despite its "corniness". :P

The effects were great. (snigger) ;)

Mitch - I know huh? The ending left the door wide open. :P

Ben - I loved Godzilla to, but, just when it was showing him. The human characters were kinda bland, especially Broderick :x

Can't go wrong with the G-man, though :D

Btw, you and Rand are lucky, I only got Godzilla Final Wars. Which isn't the final one :( (what a rip off!)

Daniel Jake - Exactly -- which is why they have to make a second one. Here's hoping that they'll include Mothra in it... *drinks rootbeer* :P

I don't remember any of the human characters in the film, except for the guy who was near the worms.....and the guy who wet his pants when the big lizard himself stepped over the guy. (snigger) I haven't watched the film in years. Maybe I should pull it off the shelves again sometime -- I'll probably have to wash all of the dust off of it first, though. :P

Haha -- "Space Godzilla".

Yeah, a computer animated Mothra would be off the heat -- moths rule big time. :D
