Well the number one movie for me to see in 2007 is Saw IV there are others like The Simpsons, Halloween, Death Setance but Saw IV has always been the number one movie for me to see this year, I recently saw the video clip from Comic Con and it sure does look exciting.

I don't think what you just said holds any surprises! :)

BTW, CH, I've been meaning to ask for a while, but could you change your sig and image please...while we welcome free speech, I'm not sure quoting a horror character and the MOH logo is quite appropriate for our animation based family site, and we have in fact had one mention from a reader who didn't feel comfortable with those elements.

So...could you...? Thanks.

I wonder: could Spidey 3 possibly get nominated for best VFX? :) How about Pirates 3?

Hairspray: Best song noms, no question. Probably one for: "You Can't Stop the Beat."

Across the Universe: Possibly Best Pic, Best VFX, Best Editing....I can't wait! :)

Spidey 3 and Pirates 3 are obviously both in with a VFX chance, though I wouldn't be surprised if Pirates waltzes off with this...not much "new" going on in Spidey.

Hairspray...are there any original, written just for the film songs in there? If not, it has no chance...

Across The Universe...did that come out yet? If so it came and went without a dip...no chance on anything for that except maybe some screenplay nomination and maybe a performance...nothing more, and certainly not Best Pic.

I changed it, I used a quote from Magic Knight Rayearth.

Hairspray...are there any original, written just for the film songs in there? If not, it has no chance...
I don't think so--it's all from the show, which already won the Tony, so.....:(
I do hope Travolta gets some recognition. :)
Across The Universe...did that come out yet?
Nah, not till the fall. There hasn't been a lot of talk about it for quite some time now. Maybe it's not all it's cracked up to be, but I'm looking forward to it.

Also, this is a dumb coincidence but has anyone noticed that two very likely contenders for Best Animated Film: Ratatouille and Paprika--are also food names? :P :)

Nah, I just meant they both also have food meanings. :P

Ratatouille: French dish

Paprika: often-used spice
