I really like James' idea, though it is a bit long. How about you name the studio "Easton Studios" or "Studio Easton," but have the logo reflect James' idea? Your studio's motto could also play with James' idea.

Go for Easton Studios as it seems the classiest. :)

I am 100% positive. Cast Away: The Films of Robert Zemekis & The Music of Alan Silvestri is the closest thing to a soundtrack that was released.
True, there was no commercial release, so no, there is no way of buying the track through any web music service. They did, however, release a promotional cd ("for your consideration') which has 6 unnamed tracks on it and runs 16.51 minutes. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for it on eBay...

Mickey...

Just got back for NYC, so this reply may be a little late.

Do you have the Cast Away DVD? If so (and I'm not condoning this!) but you could try and record the soundtrack from the end credits of the movie - I have the Bob Z/Alan S CD you mention above and the End Credit track is simply that - the end credit music taken from the movie (complete with waves sound effects).

If this doesn't work, email me to try and set up something privately.

Easton Pictures.

Keep the "Studio" out of it - it indicates you have facilities or at least a shingle deal set up somewhere.

With the Pictures, you retain that possibility, but it also sounds good as a production company name, and would mean you could carry it around with you wherever you went (from Studio, to facilities, to just plain you in a room with that as a production moniker).

James' suggestion is fun, but isn't as catchy and will likely end up being misspelled, whereas the shorter Easton Pictures will remain stuck in the head as being unique for that very same reason (not too much to remember)!

Hope that helps - but I think your Easton Pictures is a good, strong name, and a clever one at that.

Good luck! :)

What's the point of the logo on the front page linking you to the front page when you're ON the front page?

Good question. I've wondered the same thing. But I don't think this is the only site like that.

Strangely enough, most sites do this. A lot of times, it is because they are using a template for all their pages.

I find it handy if I've gone to an old archive page just to hit the logo and go back to the front.

It is so any page on the site you visit, you can just click the logo to get back to the main page. It is a universal setting for our website which means the main page gets the link too.

I don't know if the top navigation is also universal, but on the archives page, the forum link points to the old (& nonexistant) forum.
