Hilarious clip from the 1960s TV version of "The Jack Benny Show."

Jack asks Walt (Disney) for free passes to Disneyland.

That isn't the problem -- it's the NUMBER of passes he asks for, and for whom!

The animal videos are the most consistently funny home videos posted on YouTube.

It's pretty hard to do a decent series with someone providing a human voice for an animal but I think this guy did a pretty good job!

I know...

It's addicting!

There are 32 videos in the series and I've seen most of them now.

And being part of a family that has owned multiple cats over the past 30 years, I can tell you that Sylvester probably isn't far off the mark personality-wise for many cats.

Lovable but bratty at the same time!

Most dogs are different... except for some of the more stubborn, harder-to-train breeds. They're a bit more cat-like.

Yes, I never knew Walt was on Benny's show - that's priceless. Excellent if that had turned up as a supplemental clip on a Treasures set. Just lovely. :)

I've known about Walt's televised encounter with Jack Benny for a few years now.

It was mentioned on another bulletin board by somebody who bought one of the $1 DVD's that was released in a huge wave way back then when a bunch of cartoons in public domain were being put out in collections. In addition to the cartoons, there were DVD collections of episodes of a bunch of old TV shows featuring Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, Andy Griffith, and so on.

This clip is roughly a year, year-and-a-half before Walt Disney died. You can see him discussing Haley Mills' last contract feature for him (That Darn Cat) with a "studio employee". Even the bird is a reused animatronic figure from one of the Disney park attractions or feature.

For a guy who was said to be uncomfortable about on-camera appearances and performing for TV, Walt was remarkably smooth and his timing was impeccable. Great straight man for Jack Benny!

Film clip from YouTube of the launch of the Titanic from over 100 years ago...

As the anniversary of her sinking approaches, the people of Belfast, Northern Ireland, celebrate the short life of the world's most famous ocean liner... a ship that many of its citizens helped to build.

The people of Belfast have a very different view on Titanic and many are proud to be descendants of the men who built her.

Bugs Bunny takes a wrong turn at Albuquerque and ends up in the Black Forest of Germany! He encounters Herman Goering on a hunting expedition and drives Fatso Herman nutty!

Rumors of Leonard Nimoy's retirement are just that!

In spite of announcing his retirement in 2010, Leonard keeps working -- doing voiceovers and occasional guest shots! The Big Bang Theory seems to be his current cameo vehicle.

He and other Star Trek actors -- including at least 2 Next Generation guys, Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner -- have made the rounds on this "geek series".

Here's Nimoy in his latest cameo on the series...
