Absolutely awesome (and DEAD ON) mockumentary on “the TV show Galaxy Quest” that was on E! right when the actual Galaxy Quest movie came out in ‘99.

(One of my favorite movies ever, actually.)

Amazing how this captures the feel of documentaries on old TV shows so well. (Oh btw the first “TV historian” we see is actually GQ’s real-life director)

Next Gen intro...Full House style. (It’s actually really good.)

There’s a Friends-style one out there too, but I thought this was much better.

Really freaky version of the “minus world” glitch from the very first Super Mario game ever, circa 1985.

That’s when Mario, if the player performs the right move, is somehow able to walk through the bricks in the underground section and go down one of the warp pipes even though technically he shouldn’t be able to. Havoc ensues! The American version just has him swimming through the same underwater world ad infinitum, but the Japanese/Famicom version....

Well, see for yourself:

(Very weird moment at 3:00 lol.)

Shows how much of a non-gamer I am...nothing here looks odd/wrong/weird to me; this is totally lost on me! :)

Lol I guess should have explained...

1.). The first level has Mario swimming, but there are clouds underwater. Plus the Princess keeps appearing on the bottom of the screen and the whole point of the game is to find/save her.

2.) The elevator thingy is only in the underground levels. Plus the high platforms are always in the sky...definitely not underwater. ;)

4.). The sea squids belong in the underwater level, not the dark underground one. And it’s especially weird when Mario crushes one at the very end when technically you’re not even supposed to be able to kill them in the first place.

Yeah I guess it’s a bit confusing when you’re not familiar with it....personally I think the 92 Mario film (fun as it was in some parts) might have benefited from being based on these “weird” mixed-up levels rather than simply the mangled version of the actual game it was set in. Lol. :)

Cool mini-documentary on “this new Nintendo thing” from ABC 20/20 circa 1988. Weird to see the beginnings of digital technology and how it affected kids:
