"Death Cat"

I honestly didn't know what else to call this...
I agree with the science.
Doubt my own cat (an 8-year-old black tuxedo) will live long enough to do his own predictions!
...... As if some people didn't have enough irrational reasons to hate felines!
(Love both felines and canines myself... Certain breeds of both I'd rather stay away from -- Siamese cats and pitbulls, for instance --, but they're both generally good animals and among the best friends you can make in life.)
Death Cat predicts last moments...

I guess it depends on how you look at it. The patient was going to die regardless. The cat was simply alerting the staff of this, and perhaps providing the patient a bit of comfort in his or her last hours.
Of course there will be people who will call this an "omen", or somehow imply that the cat is the cause of death.
You'll always have those people.
My cat is also going on 8 years old. He's a large black tom and is starting to become grumpy in his old age. I can't quite see him providing comfort to the elderly.
