Why, it's today's big release, The Jungle Book (Col. Hathi).

You are correct, sir! That has to be, bar none, the best Garfield cartoon ever made. I couldn't use my favorite quote from that special cause it would be too obvious:

"I'll have you know halloween is my middle name. Gar-halloween-field? Oh well."

You're up, Jeroen.

Hmm... Well, it's been almost a month. I guess I'll restart this (and if Jeroen shows up he can feel free to take his turn and we'll disregard mine):

Now THIS is just weird. I would have known it anyway, but as it happens I was watching this movie the day before yesterday!! :)

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

The Joker to Batman in the Arkham flashback (*shudder* :?)

Correct! I always thoght ROTJ was the best Batman movie. On a somewhat related note, have you ever seen any of the Batman serial from the 40's? It's totally racist (very anti-japanese), but you can't help getting sucked in. I saw the first chapter online somewhere and now I want to get the dvd so I can see the rest of it.

I've actually never seen that serial but it was discussed on another thread here sometime back. I checked out the link on it; yeah, very disturbing and racist, but kinda interesting looking in a retro-way.

Also, I read that the batcave and batmobile actually originated in that serial!! :)

BTW I love Return of the Joker too!! :)

OK, my quote is: (pretty easy)

Speaker 1: "Wait...you read??"

Speaker 2: "Well.....not extensively..."
