I was watching Monsters Inc. on WWOD once, and Eisner was hosting it...It scared the crap outta me. He was wearing this stuffy business suit and had two guys dressed up as Mike and Sully on either side of him. It still gives me nightmares.

That's really funny. (No offense)

He was better in the earlier episodes. Back then he seemed more personable and approchable. A few years ago he did a promo for Toy Story where he's "talking" to the TS characters and it was so incredibly phony...

Also the most hilarious thing was when they were showing A Bug's Life on ABC and Eisner was like: "And now I'll turn you over to the head of Pixar Animation, John Lassetter," and Lassetter's like "Thanks, Mike!" like they were best friends or someting. And this was right when things were getting REALLY bad between Disney and Pixar (2001 I think)

This picture's hilarious:

Very interesting pic!

Look at Mike, pulling the happy face, while Jobs looks very stuck in the middle and Roy's over in his corner. Haha.

Anyone seen The Legend Of Zorro? While being a very fun pic, I could not get over the fact that the villain is Eisner's spit. Go to the official site (click "Enter the site" on the left and look for the character McGivens and tell me I'm not mad:

JK and Eisner in the same photo...can't find that nowadays.

Plus Eisner is like a CLONE of his son:

Is there any word as to who will host Wonderful World of Disney? Is it gonna be Lassetter, finally?

Actually, it would be more accurate to suggest that Eisner's son is the clone.

As to a host for The Wonderful World of Disney, they don't really need one unless they're going to start broadcasting it again. As you can see from this link there's nothing even scheduled. They are supposedly celebrating "50 years of Disney on weekly television" but it's been a pretty lame celebration so far. Especially considering May sweeps are almost upon us.

I think they should show some old shows.

Do a 50-week, 50-year celebration of the Disneyland shows and have the pick of the best epsiodes from 1955 onwards, with a new intro at the top of each show to put them in context.

How great would that be (but not for us stuck here in the old country!)? :)

I think tommorow they're showing Toy Story on Wonderful World of Disney, AND there's a whole documentary on Pixar's 20 years hosted by John Ratzenberger! :)

Does this mean Ratzenberger is going to host WWOD full-time? Hmmmm......

WOOT! I'll be sure to watch it! Right now I'm watching "Road-Trip to Pixar" or whatever on Disney channel. I can't believe it - I'm actually upset that they only have, like, two commercial an hour.

No, not at all. Ratzenberger has done this a few times in the past, usually right before a Pixar film came out. He did a WWoD episode before Finding Nemo & I believe before Monsters Inc (I can't remember if he did one before Incredibles). He's doing it tomorrow to plug Cars. We likely won't see him again on WWoD until right before Ratatouille comes out.

With the Lamp and Mouse deal, it's not out of the question that the host gets Ratzenbergered and John does the duties...all these links may well be "training"...and after all, has JR got anything else major on his plate other than a Pixar voice once a year??

BTW, who wants to guess if this new Pixar documentary doesn't turn up on DVD along with the studio's shorts.

Hmmmmm, what a disc that would make! :)
