♫ Josie and the pussycats
Hot licks, we'll give you that
Stone foxes, that's a fact
Josie and the Pussycats ♪

That's what my post on the previous page was getting at. I thought it might have been too subtle. ;)

Wish they still showed those! They were all pretty good. Josie and Jabberjaw were my favorites.

Well, I’m not sure what I just witnessed there (obviously, I do get what it was for!), but it was pretty awesome, I think! Always one of my favorite "funky" HB themes!

Although it’s not particularly the cartoon, the early 2000s live-action feature is worth checking out for simply being a fun riff, with a modicum of biting music industry satire.

Kind of surprised they are not including the scooby doo crossover with josie as a extra. Maybe in the outer space set?

And yes that josie "groovies" should be there as a extra also. Loved those. Jabberjaws was fun also and they got the classic vas back for it!

Yep...But they're not going to show them NOW, because franchise-starving Warner wants to show how much they love their new Warner Archive vintage-HB fans.

("What, Quick-Draw? No, we never made a joke about him! Or Ranger Smith!...Honest, we LOVE Blue Falcon & Dynomutt!")

Fun fact: making fun of something doesn’t mean you “hate it”...

Unless you're Cartoon Network, just LOOKING for justification to boot all the reruns to Boomerang, and fill the schedules with Dexter's Laboratory, and make sure a majority of core fans don't write in and complain like Disney Channel's fans did.

(So, did you also like that three-minute musical salute to the fact that the Flintstones had looping backgrounds? )

I’m not even sure what point he’s trying to make. Dexter’s Lab was nearly 25 years ago! It’s old enough to be considered retro. :?

Groovies were "fun" music videos. Nothing more, nothing less. The Flintstones one is brilliant.

Uh, you DO know that when we talk about CN's "H-B Ghetto" phase, it's '99-'03, ie. the time just before their big H-B Kristallnacht?

Yes, we fans haven't forgotten, and watching the franchise-desperate Warner now come crawling back to the Archive fans with their name-recognition hats in their hands eighteen years after the Powerpuff Girls Movie has not gone unnoticed.
Oh, Warner, you'd need a lot MORE than a complete Blu-ray set to make us forget "Flintstones on the Rocks"--And Yogi Bear on Blu, and we might decide to forget "Boo-Boo Runs Wild"....MIGHT.
