A&O and sequels also went to Splash. There is no mystery. A bunch of flops put Crest out of business and, as happens so often when films are in active production, someone else picked them up to finish them. There’s enough money in these kinds of things on home video to make a series of films viable…until they aren’t.

At the end of the day, that’s what happens when you’re animation studio is often mistaken for toothpaste.

Seriously, though, it is too bad. Rich was extremely gracious and friendly when I got the chance to talk to him.

Wow that’s awesome Dacey! :)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Thanks. I like to think I am brushing up on my bad jokes.

I’ll stop now.

Well, I know you want to just let the "toothpaste" joke drop, but don't sound so crestfallen.

It's strange because I've heard rumors that originally the second Alpha and Omega was going to be a theatrical film, but it seems that I can't find any sources to verify that.

If Alpha and Omega was a success, then why did Crest Animation shut down, and why hasn't Richard Rich produced another theatrical film since?
