Re: DC Universe
As I thought long ago, Miller is being kept out of the promo push, with WB keeping him on the sidelines in favor of Bat-Keaton, who himself isn’t doing too many promos (for various reasons, though he’s no doubt still pretty peeved about the whole Batgirl thing), and instead just trying to sell the heck out of the film itself by buying exposure:

I just love that in terms of the movie summer, we’re living in 1989 again!

JUNE 23
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

The last time it was 1989 was in 2008, with The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Nah, I’m talking *authentic* Bats and Indy. Keaton and Ford was 1989.

Re: DC Universe
The movie is not the greatest superhero film of all time as touted by somebody before its release. But it is a lot of fun! Tons already revealed in trailers and promos, but if you're thinking about going I'd suggest seeing it sooner rather than later to save a few more surprises!

Re: DC Universe
Without even trying I saw some footage a few days ago. Very rough looking, but being cam footage doesn't help!

Re: DC Universe
The big reveal at the end sounds really dumb. Like Burton's Planet Of The Apes dumb, just there for the sake of trying to shock-surprise.

Re: DC Universe
Number one, it doesn’t make sense. Number two, it *actually* totally unravels what they’re trying to do if you look at it as the natural progression of the casting of that character. Better to have stuck with the originally shot ending, right?

Re: DC Universe
After reading the plot on Wikipedia and reading how the movie ends, my desire to see the film went out the window. I understand (kinda) why they chose that path because the other option isn't really available. But out of every possible scenario they could have gone with they chose THAT one???
