I knew they'd get around to it eventually. Looks like it'll be a wait, but I'm glad they intend to remaster.

Yes! The remaining Man From Atlantis!

I had bought the pilot last year, hoping the rest might follow. There's some good stuff mixed in with the cheese, from what little I recall from my childhood--- unless the best stuff was in the pilot.

Might have to race you on those vines and see who swings to a hopeful review copy when the time comes, Rand! ;)

Looks like we'll have plenty of time to hash that out. Actually, I don't mind reading your review on this one, and making it a purchase for myself. I'm sure you'd do an interesting job on it.

WA lists this as out today! How did we not hear about this earlier?

A great white whale and a teenage cave dweller are the headliners of this 2-Disc, 18-Episode Collection. The triangle on your play button is all the symbolism you’ll need to know!
(Okay, I know it's in Warner's basic nature to fall back on their Cartoon Network "60's HB = Slacker-camp" safety-net when in doubt, but....anybody else wondering just what exactly they were trying to say?
"A white whale and a cave teen with a giant club" maybe, but...? :? )

Yes! Another scratchy VHS to retire! And I think we'll see lots more Quest from WA in the next while, too (JQ vs. The Cyber Insects, the 1980s version, and more Real Adv. of JQ). Bring it on!

JGQ is not canon, as it deviates from the original version, but it is a fun movie. Looking forward to seeing it on DVD.

And on the Other Studios front, the Digital Bits finally published a new updated listing for those elusive Universal archive titles that nobody can ever find on Amazon:

Whoa! Nice. Golden Quest was previously announced, and we received a surprise screener for Judy, but the others are a real surprise. Nice that it's my birthday month, so I have a 20% offer I can use.

Thanks for the Uni list, Eric. A handful of worthy titles on there, but they never had the best catalog library save for the classic monster movies. Interesting they seem to be putting out singles of films that were available in multi-disc sets!?

The original Gambit, Adrian Messenger and The Public Eye are tempting, but only just (and I might just get the UK pressed disc for Gambit, which has a couple of extras too, or wait until the inevitable reissue when the Coen's remake comes along).
