No, no. Elio has two fully credited directors at the start of the credits. It's not a Wonder Park thing. It's only the original director who's not given top billing (unlike Brenda Chapman on Brave).

Ah, more like Jan Pinkava on Ratatouille? He was listed, but in the scroll I think.

Right. I was just about to post this excerpt from Cartoon Brew:
All three directors get credit for the final film, though Molina’s credit is not placed upfront alongside Sharafian and Shi and appears later in the credits crawl.

I went to see it on Tuesday. For some weird reason I was looking forward to it, and I came out happy. I do think that the emotional point where Elio shares the logic behind his motivation is placed in a moment of the movie where it doesn't punch your heartstrings that bad. I think that if was moved further into the movie, it would have made it better. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot, and I would say it's in the middle of my Pixar movies ranking.

Important context question, then: what’s your first and last Pixar offerings…?

That's fair hahaha.
My favorite Pixar movie is Ratatouille. Coco is right up there along with Toy Story 2 and Soul.
My least favorite Pixar movie is Cars 2. Turning Red is also down there along with A good dinosaur.

Then I will likely place Elio around the middle too, then! ;)

I took my nephews to watch the film, they enjoyed it, I thought it was generic and the "conflict" and the way they solved it were contrived. I don't really have much to say about it, I don't think I'll revisit this one.
