Heads up on The March Of The Penguins DVD for animation fans:

The disc opens with a very funny tap-dancing penguin teaser for Happy Feet (not the trailer with the clips and dialogue, just one little penguin dancing in one continuous shot), which made me laugh over and over.

Also features the Bugs Bunny cartoon "8 Ball Bunny", which features a penguin foil for Bugs. Be aware that this comes from a video master and has nnot been restored to Golden Collection standards, but has good colors and looks fairly nice.

The disc also has a couple of documentary featurettes on the penguins and the making of the movie, plus the great trailer. Good package!

Someone in my house will hopefully get "March of the Penguins" for Christmas.

I saw the "Happy Feet" trailer again today when I went to GOF a second time. I'm really warming up to this one.

So far, there's two teaser trailers:

- The single dancing baby penguin hopping about onm the ice, with the title zooming in at the end.

- The widely seen internet trailer, with lots of penguin dancing and dialogue/clips from the movie.

Yep.

EDIT: Here's a plot summary taken from comingsoon.net:

"Happy Feet" is set deep in Antarctica. Into the land of Emperor Penguins, where each needs a heart song to attract a soul mate, a penguin is born who cannot sing. Our hero Mumble, son of Memphis and Norma Jean, is the worst singer in the world...however, as it happens, he is a brilliant tap dancer!

Boom-Baby! ahuh ahuh ahuh! sorry this trailer gets my groove on!

I love a movie you can dance to (or with), Im axtious to see the out come, it looks like those dance sequences @ the end of Shrek and Shark Tale but throughout the entire flick. Queen, among others, is said to be giving the beat to this one, which Im glad because I dont think audiances will accept another Pebble & the Penguin ( any one remember that).

Man these guys look real but cute ( hard 2 say for the penguins in "The Wild")

Ahh, the wild threw off my groove, any1 know the songs titles on the hf trailers?

I remember Pebble And The Penguin.

How does the poster look "odd"? And where are the two comparing images from and why the differences?

I just thought the poster looked different than the penguins in the trailers. It's shaped slightly differently, and it's got blue eyes...And the foot bothers me.
