Guess what everybody? I'm going to go see Ratatouille on Monday June 11 at at 7:00pm at The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin, Texas! This is going to be the best birthday present ever! I can't wait! To bad I'm not old enough to watch Patton Oswalt tough. but still...

:D Oh yeah I still have to get the tickets but they don't come on sale til Thursday, but as soon as there up I'll get em.

There's no reviews for Ratatouille yet, but there was this interesting review of the trailer and the film's possible Oscar chances:

Personally, I think it will be: (Possibly, depends on how many candidates are allowed)

Ratatouille
Shrek the Third
Meet the Robinsons
Surf's Up
Bee Movie
Paprika

Enchanted doesn't qualify as its only what, 5 or 10% animated? I think it has to be at least 60% animated to enter.

Hopefully, there'll be at least 4 entries allowed this year, unlike last year's 3. (!!)

Shoe ins: Ratatouille, Paprika, Bee Movie. (my opinion.

)

Although Meet the Robinsons and Surf's Up both have a very cool look to them and it's really hard to say at this point. Like last year, who knows what will happen....

ratatouille looks like its gonna be a great movie. iv'e loved the podcasts (and of course the 9-minute trailer) they've put out over the last few months! oh the anticipation...
