It sorta has an E.T. without the humans vibe to it

Well I was laughing just reading the article so hopefully it will live up to some expectations. I think the ideas are so original and very PIXAR with an edge.

That's pretty awesome, though I wish it wasn't so grainy.

ok, here's a glimpse from the teaser poster which looks gorgeous. THAT's a movie I'm already excited about (compare it to the lame posters from Shrek or Robinson...)

And some pics of the model of Wal-E

It'd be nice if Disney released toys in metal and stuff for Wall-E like they did with Cars. I think it would be much cooler in metal rather than plastic. Collecting all the WALL-E Characters if they are like him, would be cool. Kind of like the Cars collectibles.

P.S. Can one of the mods remove the WALL-E picture that JV posted. It's ruining this thread. Thanks :)

I never thought of that, bawpcwpn. That would be cool, if Disney released metal toys of WALL-E! :)

I collected a few of the Cars one, specifically because they were metal! It made them unique, and they really stand out.

Well I mean think about it. Robots are metal hence metal toys. Plastic just doesn't fit. I think what would make a cool toy; a remote controlled WALL-E. That would be a cool collectible. I don't think it would matter if it cost a $300-$400. It would still be a lot of fun! If it had a screen on the control and a camera in one of the eyes, you could attach a tray to its semi-controllable arms and use him as a servant to go out to the kitchen and request a drink. Lots of fun in my opinion.

I did hear that there might be roaming WALL-E's at Disneyland. That would be cool.

I don't think that would be very polite!

Yes, if the image infringed copyright or was questionable in nature, but how would you like it if we removed an image you took the trouble to add? I'm not sure how it is "ruining this thread" either?

We're generally not in the habit of editing other people's posts unless we have a content problem with it. If JV requested it be taken down, that's a different matter, but in this case, I can't see the root of the complaint.

Hope you understand! :)

I think what bawpcwpn meant when he said "ruining", was that JV's pic was a little too big, and the page was acting up for him.

Anyhoo, looks like JV was around and edited his post.

Thanks JV. Yeah all I meant was that it was way to big for the forum and was stretching it. I'll try to make myself more clear and word my comment better next time. Sorry for any misunderstanding Ben. :)
