I'm not sure if this has appeared on the forum before but I thought it might be of some interest. It is an Australian made animated short using computer graphics to replicate the old silhouette style of animation. The story is set in a Laputa/Lost World influenced steam punk universe.

I've edited out the above links as technically this appears to be pirated. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
This is a great "short" (it's 26 minutes!) and was discussed a bit during Oscar time last year. For those that want to see it AND justly compensate the creators it is for sale on iTunes for $1.99:

Sorry, yeah it was pirated (I assume) although I saw it on BBC4 so I can feel less guilty.

When was this on BBC 4? Is it in rotation at the moment? Must look out for it.

It was on a couple of weeks ago which means there is a good chance it will be on again sometime in the next couple of months.
