I agree! What a nifty look'n box. Now the regular dvd looks cheap. :(

Not that cheap, Otis. ;)

Still haven't seen the gift set on either Amazon or eBay, arg!

In the meantime, I've finished viewing everything on the DVD. I'm very pleased. Nice restoration - MUCH better over JB - and of course like Ben said earlier for the extras, it's all good stuff!

101 Dalmatians Roleplay Game

Post by croixla222 » May 24th, 2008, 5:50 pm

Hey everyone this is a game I want to make here.

Just roleplay! You can be whoever you want to be, just follow the storyline of the person above you.

I'll start...

Pongo - Look Perdy! I see Jasper and Horace!
Perdy - They better not be trying to find our kids!

*Jasper and Horace are in the Pongo's backyard searching around for puppies.*

Pongo - It looks like they are... on the count of 3 we'll attack them!

I'm lost already!

What I would say though, to croixla222, is that maybe you might want to think about engaging in a proper conversation rather than join up and immediately start something up like this.

Welcome, I think, to our boards...

Here's the cover art for the Special Edition of the sequel:

Not bad, but I prefer the original cover a little bit more. For improvement, I hope they add "Pictures Presents", because just having "Walt Disney" is a bit of lie. ;) And that "II", eww.

BTW, I did finally manage to get the Collector set from an Amazon seller! :)

This was one of the sequels I really didn't mind. I'm sure I'll take a look on this one when it comes in...for the new game or whatever makes it "special"...! ;)

Slipcover!

Yes, as I'm sure I said elsewhere, it's one of my favorites.

This is going to be released again as part of the "Walt Disney Signature Collection". Release date is September 24th. Yeah, they really should've spread these out a little..!

Here's the cover:

Image

New this time around:
In Walt’s Words: 101 Dalmatians
Cruella de Vil: Marc Davis’ Last Animated Character
Color and Line: The Visual Design of 101 Dalmatians
The Further Adventures of Thunderbolt: Behind the Scenes
A commentary?? Possibly a visual one at that!? Wow! About time! It's one of the few Walt-era films that has lacked any type of commentary. Really should've gotten one for the Platinum edition...

Already own the film on disc, so no double-dipping. Will be hard to resist. ;)

I’ll nab this if only to keep a complete Signature Collection going. It’s clear Disney is rushing out discs because they know people won’t keep buying them once they have access to all this stuff via D+.

Here's the trailer. A look at the Target Exclusive:

Heh, red again! Cruella's kinda plonked in there, much like the regular edition.
