With so many titles now available, the Fonz show had crept to the top of my wish list, so I am happy to see it coming out. But I would LOVE to see the Mork cartoon!

Instant purchase, for both; thanks for the heads-up, gaastra..!

Cupcake is still one of my favorite characters from this period of Saturday morning cartoons. :)

Hello all,

I know it's been available since September, but I just wrote a web review/article on Popeye The Sailor: The 1940s, Volume 3 Blu-ray. The picture quality is really great, with excellent color. The cartoons are as entertaining as ever, too.

BTW, as has been mentioned, Jerry Beck on Stu's Show said last week that Warner Archive are taking a break from Popeye releases at the moment. So, there won't be a 1950's Popeye Warner Archive disc for sale in the next few months. He did say that there will be a Warner Archive animated release in February, but didn't say what that would be. He also said that Warner Home Video will have a new item available around that time, too. But again, no title given.

I’m just hoping that Cats Don’t Dance finally gets some love.

Even if its only future is in the Archive, they sold as much Porky Pig as they sold Popeye...
Now it's time for another early completist character (woo-hoo!)

Lots of hanna barbera releases still not on dvd yet also.

Also there's the tex avery cartoons that are on boomerangs streaming service so they could release them also.

Tex is a good call. We’ve all been waiting for those (unless you’re lucky enough to have the original LD) for a couple of decades now!

We got a few (FEW) of the core classic MGM's remastered for the, ahem, last :x commercial Warner's Looney set, so if they did, they might be taking a shortcut and doing the standalone non-Droopy toons.

However, we still need that "Tex at Warner" set--If only for pristine versions of "Believe It Or Else", "A Feud There Was", "Hamateur Night", "Cinderella Meets a Fella" and "Detouring America"

The MGM Texes were not remastered for the Looney set. I don’t even think they were in HD.

Would be great to mix his early Warner stuff with all the MGMs for an ultimate Tex set, but I don’t see that as likely, though could we get two or three BD volumes of the MGMs...? Eeehhh...that’s a possibility! ;)

Yep, "Blitz Wolf" was a restored copy, but wasn't done for the Looney set and not in HD. The restored scan was created for the Academy Awards Collection.
