Here's a pretty cool comparison of sorts for "Red Hot Riding Hood". Starts out with an old, unrestored clip and then moves onto the Archive print. What a difference! The color, clarity... amazing!

Jerry Beck talks about the release in this weeks Warner Archive podcast. Essentially what I've already posted, though still very much worth a listen. The MGM Happy Harmonies gets name-dropped a few times but nothing definitive. Cartoon selection was based on the quality of available elements. And a second Volume is likely.

On Jerry Beck's Cartoon Research blog this week:

Are Warner Archive’s blu ray plans on hold?

No. We are still planning to release several DVD/blu-ray cartoon sets later this year. But coronavirus closures have affected production. I’ll be announcing more news about this very soon.
Nice to know more is being planned, though time will tell as to how much comes to market this year.
