Yep, there was no need to make him evil just to make Anna's decision easier. If anything, Hans being genuine would've been more interesting and led to a stronger message.
According to legend, the original Frozen 1 storyboard had Elsa as the "villain", whose self-pitying stubbornness was freezing the village--
But that didn't quite make her sympathetic enough for the audience to care, so we got a Baddy-Waddy villain inserted in the final drafts instead, where an otherwise minor character does a baffling 180 in the last reels.

And, thanks to female directors, guess what thematic plot point MAKES him bad?...

Frozen 1?

What’s that? Did I miss a Disney movie? I only remember a Frozen, and a Frozen II to come...?

Frozen 1? Reminds me of those early commercials before it hit theatres. Who will Anna choose, the ice guy or the nice guy? That wasn't misleading at all Disney... ;)

Snippet of a song sung by Anna titled "The Next Right Thing". I like it, especially that opening melody.

Idina Menzal reveals the titles for two new songs. "Into the Unknown", heh, makes me think of Pokémon. ;)

Here's another interview she did.

Loved it. More was shown, yet not much was revealed. Liked the epicness vibe. We see King Agnarr younger! "And saved you from my ex-boyfriend" Great line! ;)

From the initial previews, I was being reminded of Once Upon a Time and this trailer only furthered that. An enchanted forest where no one can get in or out, not to mention all that mist like the kind that would appear when a curse was unleashed. It's funny considering there actually was a Frozen arc on the show. (All things considered, that was a darn good season.) I see similarities but it's a whole different beast.

Shame we didn't get a new song or anything...

As noted on the front page, the LA Times revealed some of the expanded cast now that the trailer has ventured into the enchanted forest.

Alfred Molina takes over the role of King Agnarr, previously voiced by Maurice LaMarche.

Martha Plimpton will play Yelana, the leader of the Northuldra tribe.

Rachel Matthews will play Honeymaren, a free-spirited member of the Northuldra tribe.

Jason Ritter will play Ryder, Honeymaren's brother whose love for reindeers could rival Kristoff.

And the salamander seen in the trailer apparently has a name, Bruni. I get the feeling he'll be voiced by Alan Tudyk?
