Very cool 4-minute viral mockumentary about the "genetically gifted."

Sorry...I thought that was actually really lame, especially the guy towards the end who could simply be a mutant overactor! :(

So...what was the point of bringing "the band back together" at the end of the last movie if they AREN'T going to be used in the next film? You know, besides Singer being a big baby about X-Men 3 and everything.

So apparently the "Rouge cut" of the movie is in fact on its way...but it won't be available until 2015.

In other words, it's not enough for us to spend extra money to buy the 3-D Deluxe Edition. We have to purchase the movie twice as well.

More on continuity and the timelines; also the First Class "trilogy" will apparently end after Apocalypse.

As eager as I am to purchase (and watch!) DOFP, I'll certainly be waiting to see what the next edition looks like.

Almost all X-continuity other than First Class wiped away by DOFP :

So...it's a trilogy of prequels to a trilogy that will never happen? Makes sense.

Love it! :)

I'm good without 3D (I'm not a fan anyway, but since I'm building a 19 or 22-seat home theater I'm not spending that much on glasses for everyone!) and am waiting for the "all-in" movie collection to come to disc whenever the current run of films ends, so I'm in no rush to get DOFP much as I enjoyed it.

But I do think it's a con to double dip...although fair play that they've announced the other cut is coming so that folks can at least vote with their dollars and play the waiting game.

X-men:A to explore relationship between Mystique and Beast, plus more on Erik and Charles. Also, comicbook.com mentioned that a lot will be done with 80s pop culture. :)

The upcoming Deadpool movie will take place in "the same universe" as the X-Men movies....somehow.
