OK so dumb question cause on first watch I didn't get it. In the preview pic I can see the new actors, but in the clip I cannot. Have they just CGI Tom and Robert onto the body's and kept the voices? I did Tom and Robert act this out mouthing the words. I am so confused.

It’s a deep fake thingy. Holland and Downey's faces replace Fox and Lloyd, everything else is the same.

There’s a pretty creepy Shining one out there too, with "Jim Carrey" replacing Nicholson, though the thing I find with these as that they’re not full-on replacements but feel about halfway transformed between the two faces, which is maybe why people aren’t seeing it on the first watch...?

The absolutely most mind-blowing one is Spaceballs with Harrison Ford’s face superimposed (not really merged) with Bill Pullman’s...most meta thing ever as Pullman played “Lone Starr”, the Han Solo-like hero! :). lol.

(Plus seeing “Ford” going head-to-head with Dark Helmet is the icing on the cake! :P )

Thank goodness! :? I was flabbergasted when I first heard of this a few weeks back (through a YT fan’s vid).

Speaking as a woman, I COULD CARE LESS about this and still can’t believe it was actually an issue in the first place. (??)

I don’t think it was "anti women" Vi, just too racy for some very unbroadened cultures...!

Oh wow I think there may have been a misunderstanding...I assumed that whatever country altered that one frame thought the magazine cover objectified women (even though it was obviously supposed to be from 1955), meaning that they felt it was offensive due to being sexist. So I was questioning why in the world would any woman be offended by such a mild example of “racy” photography, especially since it’s part of a movie and is owned by someone who isn’t exactly known for his “enlightened” views.

But yeah, I can see how some cultures who place more of an emphasis on modesty might object to it.

(....oh wait, Ben, did you mean “seen as anti-women”? Sorry, I think I may have gotten a little confused.)

I'm certain it was a very conservative country with religious views that object to racy imagery. Saudi Arabia comes to mind.

And.... you could care less, or could not care less? :? (I think you mean the latter. :) )

That’s an Americanism that I’ve never understood. Here we say we "couldn’t care less" about something, which makes more sense, but the Yanks say "I could care less", which I do get the meaning of, but doesn’t sound quite as "correct" or clear as "I couldn’t care less", because the point is that you think something is so beneath being bothered about that there is no way you might be even a smidgen more bothered about it! You couldn’t care less!

Thankfully, in one of the rare instances where Old English is holding its own against how the rest of the world takes on more and more Americanisms, this now seems to be subsiding as the more sensible "couldn’t care less" becomes more prevalent.

Yeah, I meant to say, “I couldn’t care less,” but I’ve very often seen it written as: “I could care less,” as you’ve said Ben.

Being only partially American myself, it’s actually confused me a lot too! :). Actually this is the first time I’ve EVER written/said it like this, before I always used “couldn’t care less.” I guess it wasn’t such a great idea! ;) :)

Standard edition already ordered! :D

I love love love BTTF, but I don’t need that "exclusive" hoverboard, which isn’t even hovering! And it that plastic case has to fit in a Blu-ray sized case then how small can the actual board be!? Could have least made it a bit bigger within those confines.

The steelbooks are likewise a bit of a poor show: awful photoshop jobs with a weird MJF in the middle one and just terrible placement of the elements. Just appallingly bad, really.

I’m lucky to have nabbed the previous sets, and even though I have the BTTF trilogy on various formats more than most of the things I have, I’ll be a sucker and pick it up all over again, for the new bonus disc as much as anything. But standard only...!
