Normally, this would be the same "Characters you don't remember from Spider-Man canon, but we own them and Disney doesn't, until we crossover them into the Tom Holland movies!" as Morbius' movie (has that actually opened yet??)--
Except that here, the studio press seems to be "Our first FEMALE superhero!...From a FEMALE director of Game of Thrones episodes and the MNU!"

...Okay, think Sony's trying to get a bit of Black Widow's hype, when all else fails?
Me, I would have gone for Black Cat, like they wanted to back when they first thought they had a Sony Marvel-verse, but looks like this entry's spin wanted to explore the "Web doesn't actually blam-pow fight anyone!" option for that new splinter audience.
(And yes, I'm still resentful about WW84. But then, I just saw it, so the memories are still fresh.)

All that No Way Home money has really gone to Sony's heads.

A Madame Web movie?

No, seriously: HAS the Morbius movie come out yet, to rudely drag them back to reality?
(I mean, if it had, it's not like we would have noticed...)

No, obviously...

Well, no. S.J. Clarkson had signed on to direct the prequel but that version was cancelled...

The two takeaways in the final credit cards for me:

1) Kevin Feige is beginning to position himself as a potentially Marvel-free producer.

2) Music by Danny Elfman! Back in the Ramiverse!!

Along with the multiverse-meddling Evil Dr. Strange from Episode 3(?).

A couple of fans spotted don't-blink hints at America Chavez--a teen-Latin Captain America girl (welcome to new post-MCU-fangirl print Marvel, where every new hero is a teen-ethnic-girl variation ) who uses multiverses for her power, making her obligatory appearance to be groomed for Phase IV doubling down on a teen/girl A-Force movie--and an off-camera English voice that some wonder whether it belongs to Patrick Stewart or James MacAvoy...
(Thus fueling fanboy suspicions that Doc and Professor X will bring the Illuminati into the series.)

Well, I am a little worried about this new path the MCU is going down.

Is the MCU starting to only rely on introducing characters who already been established in "non-MCU" Marvel films instead of creating new characters and fleshing them out? I don't think this "multiverse" fad is going to last, especially when the MCU is going the route Star Wars has been going recently by relying more on cheap fanservice than new ideas.

America Chavez is widely considered to be one of Marvel's worst comic book characters in recent memory, and I'm wondering if her presence in Doctor Strange 2 is going to taint audiences, especially comic book and pop culture fans.

Tom Cruise as Tony Stark? Don't get me started. Marvel seems to already be not caring about Robert Downey Jr.'s performance as TS anymore, and I feel like casting a new actor feels like an insult to Robert's performance.

With the recent Spider-Man film, I feel like Willem Dafoe was wasted. There was a scene that was going to hint at a redemption, but after that scene where he and the other non-MCU Spider-Man villains break out of Peter Parker's new apartment, he just disappears until the climactic battle at the end of the film.

Honestly, I am a little worried about Marvel going into the multiverse, because I feel like it's going to abandon creating new characters and instead focusing on cheap fanservice and replacing the MCU characters with characters already established in non-MCU Marvel films.
