Queen of the South said my name! Different spelling I'm sure, but eh. ;)

I don't know about "horror", kind of creepy I guess...

Thought the first trailer was deliberately trying to creative-edit to coattail on being released with "It: Chapter 1", but...nope, looks like they're still doubling down on Horror/Creepy.
(And the fact that it was originally supposed to be part of what was then going to be the Deadpool-verse, that wasn't allowed to use the other franchise's Xavier Mansion, like the students in the print comic could--That's why they're in an Evil Lab, and don't attend School Not Appearing In This Film.)

Still, at least it's telling us they ARE mutants from the X-verse, that's a helpful step back to normality.

Disney's D23 says new mutants is part of the mcu? Huh?

Well, why not, I guess? A surprise to be sure, but no reason it couldn't be.

Not so fast! It was removed fast by Disney! They now are saying it was a mess up. So someone goofed and it's not part of the mcu or someone spoiled a big surprise and Disney is covering it up. I would not want to be that person right now at all! I'm sure Disney is not happy.

Well, it technically is, now that they're allowed to work Fox's X-mutants in (and if my instincts about Kevin's "new ideas" for MCU's spin on the rest of the X-Men are right, that's not going to be pretty).

Originally, Fox's New Mutants were going to be part of the Deadpool-verse--as in, DP2 introduces Cable, we meet the News, Cable takes over the News, forms X-Force and DP joins--but bad screenings for both movies cut plans short, and DP2 cut directly to the X-Force team.
Also explaining why we got the "Evil lab" instead of having the News be students, since the DPV isn't allowed to use the other franchise's Xavier mansion. (A joke Poolie even fourth-walls in the first movie.)

The only question--as the article mentions it's been removed from D+'s site--is whether it's now going to be cinematic, instead of our expectation that it was going to be dumped to streaming.

So basically Sony is ensuring they have a seat at the MCU's table with this...

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift--that is why it's called the present."

Yes, people, this is what you caused when you went to see Venom, and convinced Sony that they had a "rival" industry to the MCU.
So, if we want to go there, is Warner's "Joker".

...HAPPY now?
