How obvious, since Marmaduke and Garfield were so "successful".

From ComingSoon.net ...
The Clifford the Big Red Dog Movie is Coming in 2016
Universal Pictures announced today that they have scheduled the Clifford the Big Red Dog movie for a release on Friday, April 8, 2016.

Man's best friend becomes his biggest one too as everyone’s favorite 25-foot-tall pup, Clifford the Big Red Dog, comes to the big screen in an all-new, live-action/animated 3D comedy-adventure.

Scholastic Media's Deborah Forte will produce the film that is based on Scholastic's best-selling book series by Norman Bridwell that has entertained families for generations.

Slightly terrifying even! I don't know, he should probably be a little fluffier or something...

Clifford will talk.

David Alan Grier is his new voice.

Not surprising. He's talked in every animated adaptation. What I'm curious about is will Emily Elizabeth be able to understand him. Unlike the three series that precede it, the recent reboot allows them to talk with one and other! That's just messed up. Even the books made it clear Clifford is not meant to be verbally understood.

To my colourblind eyes he looks red. So I will take Ben's word that it isn't a real red.

Yeah, he's a dark red for me too.

Yep, I'm seeing a dark red(dish) Scholastic name-only promotional tie-in deal for Paramount's struggling animation/FX division, too.

I’m seeing sort of a “rusty” red (maybe the dog’s name should be Rusty instead! :P)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

The lettering behind him is bright red. Clifford is dark red.

Maybe your screen leans purple...? ;)

But seriously, different people perceive colours in different ways. (Just like we spell colors/colours in different ways!)
