(Many logos are in caps…but that’s not how you use the word in everyday writing. And the Lego thing is only recently. It was always just Lego. It’s just another example of humankind becoming dumb and dumber and following the sheep as they see things presented and just copy that, as opposed to knowing better and what is right and correct, which seems to have gone out the window nowadays, along with the letter g.) :(
I must confess a few years ago Ben chipped me for writing OSCARS, and now every time I discuss the Academy Awards his words are always in the back as I press that shift button for the O.

LEGO I can tactfully ignore, but I definitely cannot ignore Legos.

Yeah, that’s the other thing! Lego is like "fish"; it is both singular and plural. There is no need for "Legos"!

(And I’m sorry if I scarred you for life with Oscars!) :)

Right now, the big Star Wars-related thing I have in sight is this recently announced anime series set in the SW universe: https://www.timeout.com/tokyo/news/a-ne ... ney-070821
It's a great combination of two things I love, and I'll make sure to watch it as soon as it comes out! It's a shame I'll have to wait before it airs, because I've still got a couple hours before I'm done with a report about this residence permit in Greece (for example, did you know Tom Hanks's becoming a Greek citizen through that program? Now, you know) and would love to get an episode or two of this anime to clear my mind after I'm done with the article.

I know you mean the variation on the door, but…"there is another", to use a phrase… ;)

This’ll probably be littered with such little touches, which might make it more fun than the pretty awful Christmas thingy they did last year.

I must be blind! Only other references I caught were for Twilight Zone and The Fly...

I might be imagining it, but those candle-lit chandeliers look awfully familiar too… ;)

Brief but telling Lucas interview from around 20 years ago.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Sad that very few people, including Disney, would realise that The Shining was shooting at the same time as, and then held up the start date for, The Empire Strikes Back (then "Star Wars Chapter II") at Elstree Studios. A lot of the "ice" of Hoth was leftovers from the Overlook Hotel, so that poster has a LOT more going on there than anyone would know, though kind of a shame they didn’t get the door quite right…

When Lucasfilm announced in early 2018 that it would stop using the Wilhelm Scream, does that also apply to Lego Star Wars media?

The Book of Boba Fett trailer:

"I know that you sit on a throne of your former employer" That has to be Mando.

The former employer clearly has to be Jabba?

Yes, they even say that a few times in the trailer. Good to see Temuera seems to have lost a few pounds, so he won’t be quite as "Bloba Fatt" as he amusingly was in Mando, though his action moves look a little creaky (more work for the stunt doubles I guess!). I *am* getting a little bit Ming Na'd out at this point, though, with her neverending badass sideways glances and deferential looks to other characters…

And this does look increasingly where Star Wars even further starts to resemble Star Trek more. Trek was always sci-if with action, while Wars was traditionally an adventure story blended with sci-fi because of its setting. The more into television expansion it goes, the more of that identity is lost, and the more of a Trek clone it will become.
