The additional shot footage will supposedly only add 5 minutes. I hope it was worth it...

I think I may laugh hysterically out loud if the additional footage turns out to just be a glorified dream sequence of some potential future kinda like what the Arrowverse shows did with Crisis on Infinite Earths. So many cameos of characters in so little time and in the end utterly pointless.

Reminds me of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. ;)

Ooh...epic!

I hope they don’t start pulling all this artsy-fartsy black and white crap, though...desaturating color footage and simply upping the contrast always looks so fake and filtered, as opposed to true b/w photography. Moody? Sure, but I want to see if the talk about this being more colorful and light-hearted from BvS was true or not!

I lasted about 15 seconds before pressing stop. It just felt so pretentious, and can we please retire Hallelujah?

Consider yourself LUCKY if you now permanently associate Hallelujah with Hillary Clinton...
I still associate it with Shrek. :(

It *has* become a little overused...

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/20/arts ... lujah.html

We got clobbered over the head with it here when someone won The X-Factor and it was...everywhere. Since then I’ve kind of become immune to it...it keeps turning up but now it just feels lazy and, like that article link says, worn out, rather than eliciting any response. It is a great song, after all, from a great songwriter. It’s just become overused as shorthand by slightly less inspired uses.

Very beautifully used in Shrek! That whole montage was powerful.

Welp, that's that. I was expecting it to get pushed back until next year. It's the right move, sadly.

HBOMax and theaters (if any), same day. Someone's learned the lesson of Mulan, about who picks up the tab.

If this article is really any indication, then WW84 may be just the film we need. Nice to hear positive buzz. All the more the shame, of course, that most won't see it in theatres. In Canada, it's set the stream on Crave only after the theatrical window, though that may not be long. At that point, though, I might just wait for the Blu-ray, which likely won't take too long to come out, either.

Plastic man movie with plas passing the torch to a female hero. (plas has a son in the comics but maybe they are changing it to his daughter?)
