Unjustly firing Johnny Depp is fine, though.

*Animated* film. ;)

They already had a crossover in the comics so this makes sense. Still a little weird.

Well, its no different than teaming Batman with Ninja Turtles in the comics (4 times), then doing an animated movie. Or having Batman and Scooby together in cartons, then teaming them in the comics. This stuff goes back and forth all the time.

The Long Halloween Complete Edition on the way…

I really dug this one so I’m happy it’s going to be “one film” now.

That is quite literally insane. The movie has wrapped! It’s been shot! There was even talk of a screening a couple of weeks ago that suggested they might even switch it to a cinema release! I think Keaton and Fraser will definitely have something to say about this, or maybe be a part of it being retooled as a big screen outing (especially if Flash does decent business). Wow, that’s a gut punch for cast and crew involved…

Tax write off. Ironic first test screening was positive.

This is ridiculous. I mean, sure, the film itself was weird with its casting of both Keaton and JK Simmons - quite a mishmash of universes. But I was looking forward to seeing how it turned out. And poor Brendan Frasier--- finally resuscitating his career, then this happens! Ouch!

Spending $90M to take a tax write-off makes no sense. Just release the darn thing to your own streaming service, sell discs a year later, and everyone's happy.

Crazy.

HBO Max has removed several of their original movies, including The Witches…

Yes, that makes sense. Because removing films that have already paid for themselves and actually made money in other non HBOM territories, like The Witches, is absolutely the way to cut costs…
