It does have the Snyder featurette Road to Justice League, which I think has been on the international releases.

Oh my word…have you see that trilogy set…!?

Okay, I’m in.

Still going with that rather extravagantly priced Korean import. Rand…? ;)

I remain unswayed. I don't need a Trilogy set, as I have the other films in enough editions already. And the Trilogy set, while nice if collecting them for the first time, doesn't seem to have anything else I would need. It doesn't specify yet if it has 4K discs included, though it does say 8 discs. And I haven't seen a press release yet to let us know what's in it, so something may surprise us yet. Still, I doubt there is anything new or essential, and I get postcards with my set, too, not that I care that much. The clear slip is a nice touch, though.

No special features confirmed. Not even the "Road to JL" ones international releases have been getting:

I'll still buy it, but blech. :(

I read elsewhere that it would have the Road To featurette; it’s the same discs as the international releases, hence all the language options and need to split over two platters.

Yes. Also, I trust Blu-ray.com. It mentions the featurette for the US release.

Kevin Feige at a tribute to Richard Donner: "Superman The Movie is still to this day the archetype of the perfect superhero film origin story and we watch it before we make almost any one of our films, and that’s been the case for the past seventeen years since I left the fold to go work for Marvel."

That’s nice. Best movie ever. Lining up yet another watch for the weekend, but it will be bittersweet. At least he's up, up and away with Chris Reeve again now, and Kidder and Beatty, and a host of others, come to think of it. Only Hackman left now… :(

So cool to think that Donner's Superman informed the development of the MCU.

STM remains my favourite film and it always will be. Nothing has impacted me in my life like that film. Between Richard, Chris, and John, it's just an ideal (if admittedly not perfect) piece of work.

Plus, Donner did a lot of other great work, too! RIP.

OMG that’s so sad!

Of course like so many I also love STM, (how in the world can any superhero film nowadays hope to beat that amazing opening when baby Kal’El saves his new adopted parents from being crushed?)

Also I know he directed The Omen, which I’ve always wanted to see. (He also appeared in Shudder’s documentary series Cursed films, which only came out last year! :(. And he did NOT look 91 at all.)

(Shudder’s trailer for Cursed Films:

FYI: Some scary images.)

Plus as I’ve said before, ;) I’m a HUGE Scrooged fan.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Scrooged is a classic. And, of course, he did the pilot for a Warners Cartoons show, Pilbert:

Kind of funny to see this after the Me And My Shadow footage leak. Not so far away from each other.

RIP, Superman's other Dad.
