Glen Keane talks about how the remake perfected a moment he struggled with. I've seen the remake enough times to know the moment, and I do not share his feelings. Like usual, the original is always better.

Seems like I don't share Glen's feelings on anything lately, I guess he is too hard on himself regarding his own animation, though I don't understand how the guy who did that beautiful scene in Beauty and the Beast is the same one who's behind Over the Moon.

Not bad, but mediocre IMO, I'm sure some might enjoy it, but I felt that it was immature compared to other animated films and that the messages and themes were too on the nose.

I've always admired Keane's work during the 90's Renaissance, but the Netflix trailer GENUINELY has me afraid to watch.

When the princess of the moon suddenly bursts into a glam-diva number, I looked for the Sony Animation label on it.

That wasn't even the worst part, for me it was the angry birds.

I'm actually surprised that there's lack of interest in this film, not just here but I hardly see people talk about it. I thought people liked Glen Keane. Weren't you disappointed that he didn't get to make Rapunzel?

I thought it was *unfortunate* that he was removed, but knowing the way Disney works, we ironically definitely got a more "Disney" film from it as a result.

Careful, you're going to make Duster come out of the shadows. ;)

The TV series has been renamed "Gaston and LeFou".

The only thing that makes me remotely interested in this unnecessary prequel thing is that I get new songs from Menken.

I'm not looking forward to this. Mainly because I don't care about anything that has something to do with that wretched remake, this is also from the hacks who made Once Upon a Time, and personally I haven't been impressed with Menken's work since Hercules (and it doesn't help that Glenn Slater is going to be the lyricist).
