Here’s hoping it at least gets a disc release down the line... :(

I'm sure the already-planned disc will come out, but it's a real shame this won't have the chance to hit theatres. I think this film might be quite special.

OTOH, my Christmas Day plans have just firmed up.

If it drops globally. I don't foresee a delay for Canada, maybe the UK as they only just got Onward last week.

No, we all get this Christmas. Onward was later for the UK as it got a longer theatrical run.

Thought I read it was only up for a week before everything shutdown. Oh wait, Post-Lockdown you mean? Didn't think of that.

Well, at least it gets a theatrical showing somewhere:

London Film Festival showing. Sounds absolutely awesome. Bodes well for a disc release, at least here.

The review certainly matches the impressions I got from the D23 preview. Great to have those impressions confirmed, but sad about the fact the film was made for a 2020 release - the year everything is canceled.

I prefer the US trailer slightly. Wasn't expecting soul cameos of famous people. Kinda cool. Be neat if they do Elvis.

China music video:

Although I haven't the faintness clue of what's being sung, it's really pretty!

I admit I am disappointed that Disney has decided to dump this onto Disney+ (along with Mulan and other movies). I totally understand why in the US. But here in Australia we are kinda back to normal, we have cinemas open and while there are some new movies being shown (what is available) they are stocking the cinenas with older movies (both recent and superold). I don't understand (outside of boosting subscription numbers) why Disney wouldn't say give their movies a month long cinema release in countries that can do it before dumping onto Disney+? I honestly would head to the cinema to watch this and Mulan if I was given the option. But without that option, I'm happy to wait until a physical home release to see the movies - of course that will all change if WandaVision gets good reviews haha.

Meanwhile, I've been sneaking plot spoilers on the children's books now hitting bookstore shelves, and, delving the characteristic Pixarian plot-twists in more detail...I feel satisfied that the London review pretty much confirms my impression that I couldn't find Tina Fey's #22 any more annoying than I do now.

But then, that's what I first thought about Dory, too, so I'll keep an open mind.
