I just got back from Spidey 3.
Little bit disappointed, but I read some reviews beforehand so knew what to expect.

A spoiler free rating :)

First half: 9/10

Second half: 6/10

And as Kinoo said the patriotism ( although only in one scene ) was really awful.
The audience gave quite a negative reaction to that.
It never bothered me in 1 & 2, but in 3 it's really thrown right in your face.

I also really missed Danny Elfmans' touch in the score, Christopher Young doesn't even come close to the "Elfmeister".

So is it worth taking a trip to the theater, or should I wit for the DVD?

I really, really don't want to be disappointed. I loved the first two. :(

Yes, it's definitely worth going to the theatres for.

The movie is good, just not up there with the 2nd one.
It has its flaws (most of them in the last 30 minutes) but most of them are forgivable and understandable.

If you don't go in expecting to see the best movie of the year, you will enjoy it.

I also think that if you haven't seen spidey in theatres, you haven't seen it at all.
The effects in this one are fantastic to look at as always.

At the moment, I think the first one is better.
Could change if I see Spidey 3 a second time though.

Okay...One more question! :P
I heard there's a scene where a Spider-Man film is being shot, and the real Spidey pays a visit to chew out the crew...Is that true? They did it in Ultimate Spider-Man, and I've been dieing to find out whether the movie does so as well.

Going to try to make it tomorrow or Saterday. Early reviews haven't been quite as positive as the first two, but if I can enjoy Fantastic Four and Batman Forever, I can enjoy this. :P

I've got my tickets for Saturday night. Even if the reviews are weaker this time out, I'm sure it'll be a blast.

Did you guys see this pic on Yahoo?

Cracks me up!!! :P

They both just look so funny there, I don't know why.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Kirsten Dunst was attacked by the "photoshop monster" for one.
