Hmmmm. Kind of think the talk of Hook’s identity might count as a “hard spoiler,” Ben. :) My own fault for reading this before I watch the film, but might want to tag that part anyway. :)

as basically one of the Lost Boys (which aren’t all boys, "not that it matters", so that explains that)
Not that we EXPECTED Disney's Woke-LA division to remember Barrie's own book/play explanation that "girls are too smart to be lost in the first place".

And think you repeatedly nailed one of the problems:
When the bleak, morose, and utterly UN-kiddified Neverland of "Hook" can give us a better Hook, Tink and musical score in general, that doesn't bode well.
