Oh, you’re not enjoying it?
They closed the danged Sealabs, and they postponed the entire Rollerball season just before the big Tokyo vs. Houston finals...Makes you want to go shoot a tree!
And now Pan Am's slapped travel restrictions on the off-world colony flights, just because a few replicants tested positive!

Eh, I'm going to go back to the empty theater and put on "Woodstock". :x

Yeah, being Sony, you'd think they'd be showing Into the Spiderverse twice, instead of the live-action films!

In our area, where the local woodsy drive-in is an hour away, one of the shopping centers tried the new idea of "Why don't they have them in parking lots, and project them on the big white Wal-Mart?
One local group tried that, but most makeshift drive-ins today are for charity, and this was a benefit showing of live-action Aladdin for $25 per car. Which is not great if you're showing up solo.

That is a bit pricey. $15 maybe, if just to be out and about!

I saw that some places are doing something like this and that seems more special than seeing a movie in a car. I would have loved seeing Titanic that way.

A news item here about a month ago showed somewhere doing this with Jaws! They called it a "float in", which I thought was cool.

Looked pretty packed, too, though if they get any more popular...they’re gonna need a bigger boat! ;)

That's actually pretty cool, immersive in a way! You can pretend you're on lifeboat. Of course if I were to watch with someone, I would make sure to have ice cubes handy to throw when the ship hits the iceberg. Talk about a 4D experience.

Days Of Thunder at a Drive-In could be quite fun!
