Beautiful song. Getting Howl's Moving Castle and "Sword Art Online" vibes.

And, as we've seen, the Demon Slayer Movie marketing machine has been steadily cranking out the tie-ins:

(The bean-filled bamboo-muzzle looks particularly.....appetizing. :? )

"Gurenge" was featured in the Olympic closing ceremony. Absolutely brilliant! Perfect note to end on.

Universal studios japan of course now has a demon slayer ride and cafe that will never come to the american parks.

Edit-they reposted the video but had to remove the ride itself footage as youtube took the video down over music rights.

They've already got a Sailor Moon 4D attraction, Tokyo Tower had an entire indoor One Piece mini-park, and there was even a briefly Ranma 1/2 themed cafe downtown, that we will never see.

That was so unbelievably cool. Wow. The ride, ambiance. They nailed it. So much cute merch. Love the popcorn bucket and little crow strap. So cute!! Kinda dig the Inosuke hat. BoxLunch just came out with a similar version, and I was saying if I got that I would be all set for Halloween. I already have pants that could do and wouldn't have to bother with a shirt. Would be a sure thing if, well, y'know...

Season 2 trailer:

Very impressive! Sounds like another winning theme from LiSA.

So... Season 2 technically premiers December 5th. (in Japan and simulcast streaming) Mugen Train will air as 7 episodes starting October 10, the first one having all new content. Wouldn't mind if they do the same thing with the dub.

I was so exited until I read the link! One-day event it seems, and it's technically only the first episode of the new arc. I'll have to wait and see. I deeply regret not going for Mugen Train. Did it live up to the hype for me? Short answer, yes.

But I still need to catch up with season 2! Downside of breaking all those records... it's now too costly and Toonami didn't get the rights. Really stings needing to pay for something that was outright free. :(

Yeah, I'm really sad about it no longer being on Toonami. :( I had bought the Mugen Train movie earlier this year when there was a deal so I could keep up with the plot when the next season started airing, but now the show is officially off the radar for me. It'll be a very long time until I see the rest of it now, I suppose.

I'm glad they still have My Hero Academia, another popular one I'm probably a little more into than even Demon Slayer--although my interest isn't as high as in its first two seasons.
