Actually, I wasn't able to view the eight minute clip before-hand either, Danny. I'm not exactly sure why that is. :?

Really? How odd :? Why didn't you say anything, Mitch?

Heh, I take back what I said, Justin  ;)

Although, it doesn't really matter. Since I'm trying to avoid all spoilers. ;)

Instructions went out to webteam for it to go live when I posted it - it couldn't have been available. Unless it was a different preview but the content was finalised just two days before anyhow.

Danny - I dunno. Shame on me for not letting you know -- I should have said something.

I'll go take a peak at it later...now that it is finally up. I don't expect any miracles from this eight minute clip, though. :P

Maybe it was a different preview, Justin. Who knows. :?

Mitch - yeah, you should've said something! Doy!

Oooh, definetly! You never know. ;)

Remember, I don't want any spoilers. ;)

Welp, I finally took a look at it. Now, I have two things to say:

1. The story looks horrible!

2. The animation is almost top-notch, surprisingly.

I'm quite impressed concerning how good Lady Tremaine turned out -- the animation is quite beautiful. However, the voices for Cinderella, Gus, and Anastasia could have been a little better, and I just couldn't stand it when Cinderella started singing. But hey -- that's just me. ;)

At least I looked at it. I wanted to see how bad it was -- heh. :P

I won't say anything more, though. I know you don't want anyone to spoil it for you, Danny. ;)

How does the story look horrible?

I agree about the animation! :P

Cinderella and Gus have the same Va's, so I don't see how they could be better? IMO, they already sounded exactly like the originals. --- Maybe its the previews encoding, or something :?

Oh, know. What didn't you like about the singing? Does she sound bad, or because of the moment? I heard she sounds almost like the original. :(

How long does this clip take to download?

I've heard 5 minutes.

Anyway, I just went over to UD, and everyone is saying somethings wrong with the preview. They say Cinderella sounds way different when she's singing, and everyone sounds deeper.

Phew! Take back what you said, Mitch! j/k ;)

Danny - Haha! Well...let me explain...

1. Mmm...I can just tell. I can read the first two pages of a script before I know whether the film is acceptable or not. It's just a...thing. Forgive me -- heheh. ;)

2. Heheh -- I should have known you would agree.

3. The singing? Well, I think I will have to agree with what Ben said on this: Why would Cinderella, while under great pain and remorse, suddenly burst out in song? Was it just added to make the film look better and more "tasteful" for its child audience? Hmm. It just doesn't match up in my booklet....

I see...

Aja!

Uhuh, I agree. Though I haven't seen it, I'm painting myslef a pretty little picture.

Nice the voice issue was settled, though. :)

Yep -- the film looks so-so. But a book should never be judged by its cover, so probably shouldn't speculate so soon. ;)

Why don't you just spoil it for yourself and see the clip, Danny? :P
(snigger) I'm kidding. You do what you want. ;)

The film looks better than so-so! I'm super exited! :D

No, no, no. I said to myself, I will not look at any spoilers, and I will not! Though its so hard! :(

*Sigh*

Darn internet! So full of spoilers and what not!

Cinderella breaks out into song because she is uplifting herself. You see her getting to that point before she breaks into the song actually... First she's dissapointed that the Prince won't see her, then she's thinking how she should solve that thus making her feel happy that everything could work out and she breaks into song to up-lift her... You must remember that Cinderella is always optimistic (when she sees a tiny way out, that is), so that song proves it ;)

Oh and, I think everyone should keep their final judgement to themselves untill they see the film... I don't think you can see the whole story perspective on this 8-minute butchered-up clip.
