Disney retro-VHS collection announced

Disney has just announced an extremely cool new line of collectables -- some of their recent films on VHS! We got an early review copy of one of the titles and have all the details here:

That one was TOO plausible--The "We still love VHS!" cult is getting a little too preciously vocal, and it's very believable that Disney would try to fawn to them with 90's sentimentality, without really understanding the mindset behind the trend.

I nearly fall for these each year because by the time the article is posted the clock has ticked over to April 2 in the Southern Hemisphere. I initially was like this is cool and then the penny dropped.

Knew it was fake when I saw they were real vhs. Joke would have worked better if it was a dvd or Blu-ray in vhs packaging as we have had things like that.

You're right, that would have been more believable. But I don't think it would have been as funny!
